THE PRODUCT:
RABBITSTAT is a blended mix of
carboxylic acids found naturally in the
caecum of the healthy adult rabbit.
These acids are absorbed onto a unique
blend of mineral carriers to pass along
the digestive tract.
As the product moves along the gut,
small quantities of the active ingredients
are released from the carrier to acidity the
gut and to create an environment that
favours the development of a healthy gut
microflora
The presence of these acids in the gut
has an inhibitory effect on many of the
potential enteropathogens found in
rabbits.
RABBITSTAT creates the ideal
conditions for caecal activity in fryer
rabbits by stimulating the development of
natural fibre-digesting bacteria and
lowering caecal pH to exclude potential
enteropathogens.
RABBITSTAT helps to reduce the risk of
hind gut fermentation of excess protein
which can lead to toxic levels of ammonia
developing in the caecum.
