THE PRODUCT:
FOSPLUS is a blended fructooligosaccharide
and hydrated
aluminosilicate product.
The fructo-oligosaccharide in the product
encourages the growth and development
of the Lactobacilli and the Bifidobacteria
that are important in a healthy gut.
The provision of a fructo-oligosaccharide
is especially beneficial for younger pigs
where the stimulation of Bifidobacteria in
the hindgut will lead to a greatly improved
immune response to counter potential
disease threats.
The hydrated aluminosilicate is a binding
agent for microbial toxins. This ensures
that toxins such as aflatoxin, produced by
fungi from the Penicillium or Aspergillus
genera are rendered harmless in the gut.
Failure to neutralise toxins in the feed,
present either in raw materials, or feed
attached to the feed lines, can result in
great variety of problems.
FOSPLUS is added immediately before
mixing feed and enables the benefits of
the fructo-oligosaccharide to start
working in the animal as soon as it is
ingested.

compatible with healthy gut function.
- FOSPLUS is a free flowing white powder,
it is free from all drugs, it is fully
biodegradable and easy to use.
USAGE:
Due to the relatively short period of time
between mixing and feeding it is
recommended that 5 kg/Te be mixed with
the dry feed before liquid blending.
FOSPLUS 50 should not be used in feed
whilst animals are being treated with
antibiotics based on Tilmicosin, such as
Elanco PULMOTIL®.
