MASTERCUBE keeps getting better

Agil MASTERCUBE the low inclusion pellet binder has been improved. MASTERCUBE has already proven itself to be highly effective in all pelleted feeds, especially those below 6mm, now contains refined vegetable starches.

MASTERCUBE relies upon very active vegetable gums to react immediately with the moisture in the conditioner to produce a meal that will have reduced fines and produce a resilient pellet. The binding characteristics of the gums used, ensure optimum handling ability with a minimum loss of fines during the cooling and bagging operations.

The mineral hardener is slow to work in the pellet press ensuring smooth passage through the die before hardening to a mineral type structure throughout the pellet core to help prevent crushing and subsequent damage during storage and transportation.

The result has always been a durable pellet with minimum fines and minimum returns in the feedmill. This combination has resulted in significant cost savings as a result of its low inclusion characteristics, which prevents nutrient dilution in the feed formulation, but also reduces energy used during the pelleting operation itself.

Now Agil have been able to incorporate a highly refined vegetable starch to further reduce fines and assist in pellet durability. An added benefit of this new formulation is the die lubrication effect and reduced die wear which increases throughput whilst extending die life.

Simple mineral binders have an abrasive effect on the dies and add hidden costs to the pelleting process.

MASTERCUBE therefore offers the benefits of low inclusion with reduced fines, reduced returns and greater durability with reduced energy consumption and die wear.
